Company profile

Agritech Crop Research planted its first series of research trials in autumn of 2000. It was identified that there was no one providing good quality independent agricultural research in southern NSW. Initially in partnership with Agritech WA (now Kalyx) we ran a series of field research programs for both public and private agricultural research companies.

In 2003 Agritech established a Plant Breeding division. This has been a positive move and this segment of the business continues to grow each year. In 2011 Agritech will be managing breeding sites in wheat, barley and canola in three states in addition to cotton in northern NSW.

As the company developed and expanded it was decided that it was easier to manage and coordinate the business from the eastern states. 2005 saw the western division bought out and then in line with our plan of logical and incremental growth, the opening of a northern branch in Narrabri was realised in March of 2007, and a southern office at Naracoorte in SA in 2011.

We are now able to offer clients a comprehensive range of trial site locations and research services throughout Eastern Australia. The quality and performance of our work is known throughout the industry and we will not be second best.

With the current digital age, our leading edge in-field data recording technology, and our customised computer systems, enable us to keep you as up to date on your trials progress, as you require.

Our staff are willing to help with any of your specific requirements, no matter how particular they may be. Having grown up and experienced rural living they are familiar with the extra mile that has to be travelled sometimes to achieve results.

We look forward to helping you achieve your results in agricultural research.
